Make sure to be receiving your information from reputable sources. Misinformation can exacerbate anxieties and speculation is unhelpful.
Talk with you children, engage in an age appropriate way but do not avoid the topic altogether.
Check in with those who you know are living alone or particularly vulnerable, and if you yourself are susceptible, seek help through talking to those close to you about your feelings.
