Kitchen Buddy: Adapting Health to a Pandemic Environment
Since the pandemic, my self employed business Kitchen Buddy has adapted as I was unable to treat clinic patients or at Lewisham hospital. Instead we developed a tree leaf seasoning blend and an Instant mix for tea infusion and vegetable dishes.
I deliver House-to-house, serving our local community with herbal remedies to provide immune system support. This is essential to reduce risk of viral infection.
We enjoy Gardening with our neighbours and our local project Potato Challenge is encouraging new gardeners young and old, to start growing their own spuds!
Our Walking for well-being group has returned on Tuesdays, followed by Yoga for walkers (on demand), held in the park.
Wild food tours: beginning with the Urban Tree Festival From Downham to Beckenham place park on Saturday 22nd of May.
We’re commissioned to design a Sensory garden for Forster Memorial park. Complete with Forest Church children’s activities plus the Downham Men’s Group taking part; the Friends committee hope to start planting in May, with a grand opening in June 2021.
