What is Lewisham Launchpad?
Lewisham Launchpad is a different funding programme from Lewisham Local in partnership with Lewisham Council. It aims to support local people with innovative, good ideas for their community to be able to develop them and engage local residents in getting new projects off the ground. Launchpad encourages individuals and small groups and organisations that have not accessed public funds before.
The fund opens on 24th February 2020 and applications will be assessed on a rolling basis until the total pot of £68,750 is distributed.
How much can I apply for?
You can apply for an award of between £500 and £5000.
You don’t need to have any other cash support for your project. In fact, we will prioritise projects where our funding will make a big difference to small projects. We are unlikely to fund projects where our funding makes up a small percentage of the overall project costs.
What can I get a Launchpad award for?
Launchpad awards are for new, innovative project ideas that have the potential for long-term impact. Projects must demonstrate what Lewisham priorities they address, how they will be achieved and have clearly identified beneficiaries. Your project should make a difference, have a lasting impact and have the ambition to grow.
