We are on a mission to help children in London learn to read. Bookmark volunteers help children who are struggling to read develop their confidence and skills. Volunteers visit their local school for 2 30-minute sessions a week, working with the same child for 6-weeks. On the Bookmark app you can book sessions at times that fit into your schedule. We will then invite you for a chat and give you access to the training. When we have processed all the safety checks you gain access to the app, from which you can choose the school you want to volunteer at and which times.
