In the wake of the Coronavirus St Christopher’s Hospice in Sydenham have come up with alternative fundraising initiatives.
They are asking you to join them in completing at least 5,000 steps per day for as many days as you can manage in April and May.
You can take on the challenge alone or do it as a team (if you live in the same household) or even a virtual team if you aren’t able to be with each other physically.
The aim is to join an online community of steppers all working together to reach 50 million steps.
You can take part at home, in your garden or the local park within government guidelines – the choice is yours! You don’t need a tracker to take part.
You’ll receive a challenge pack with everything you need and regular emails to keep you motivated and give you some great ideas to get your steps in.
By taking part you’ll be supporting your local hospice while keeping fit and looking after your health and wellbeing.
