Chris the King Students Get Involved

We love young people rolling up their sleeves and getting involved in their community. This is exactly what happened with students from Christ the King Sixth Form on 4th July.

Five willing volunteers spent the day with Lewisham Local to speak with local businesses about giving back to their community. The student volunteers pounded the streets of central Lewisham to sign up businesses to the Lewisham Local Card. The day was a great success, with the students gathering interest from over 35 local businesses. Five businesses signed up to thank local volunteers through the Lewisham Local Card as a result! Lots of other great conversation also took place regarding how businesses can get connected to local good causes in Lewisham.

Thank you to Christ the King Sixth Form Students!
