FoodCycle Lewisham

FoodCycle Lewisham is a project founded and managed by Lewisham Local in partnership with the national charity FoodCycle. We provide a free three-course meal every Saturday in Lewisham Irish Community Centre using surplus food that would otherwise go to waste.

We offer a meal to anyone who may need it and reduce loneliness by building a community dining space.

interested in volunteering?

FoodCycle Lewisham will only be possible thanks to great volunteers giving their time, enthusiasm and energy. If you’d like to volunteer at one of these events, we are always looking for cooks, hosts and food collection volunteers. Register as a volunteer via FoodCycle’s website and then choose which shifts you would like to sign up to.
