About the role
- Term: Fixed term for 18 months – with view to extension
- Hours: 35 hours per week
- Salary: £37,000 + 6% employer pension
- Reporting to: CEO
- Location: Unit C, Place/Ladywell, 216 Lewisham High Street, SE13 6AY and other locations as required and flexible working
- Holidays: 25 days per year + bank holidays and 2 annual volunteering days (pro rata for part-time employees)
Join the Lewisham Local team to become our new Local Giving Programme Manager! Lewisham Local connects our community to give, share and work together to create happier and healthier communities. We want to engage more local people and businesses to give their time, money and skills through our local giving work to make a difference in Lewisham.
You will lead an exciting and growing work programme and team, developing existing and new projects and creating new partnerships. Your team will lead impactful campaigns to raise awareness of the good causes and needs in Lewisham and effective ways to give.
We are looking for an experienced person who is both comfortable building strategic partnerships as well as getting into the detail developing projects with the Staff Coordinators. You will have ideas, ambition and leadership qualities to create new opportunities for people and businesses to engage with our local giving work.
You will have an excellent understanding of at least one of the programme areas (strategic partnerships, fundraising or grants distribution) and be interested and motivated to develop in the areas you are not as familiar with. There are lots of opportunities to test, learn and innovate at Lewisham Local!
