Lewisham Local is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Gülen Petty as its new Chief Executive Officer.
With a wealth of experience in the non-profit sector, Gülen brings a fresh vision and dynamic leadership to the organisation at a crucial time in our growth.
Gülen has more than 15 years’ experience in community development and social initiatives, and is intimately familiar with Lewisham, as a long-time resident and charity leader at numerous organisations working in the Borough – including Youth First and 999 Club.
“I am incredibly honoured to join Lewisham Local and look forward to working with such a well-established and dedicated team,” said Gülen. “Together, we will build on the charity’s foundations and make the most of every opportunity to make a difference to the lives of the communities around us.
